Martial Arts in Miami, Florida

Lee’s Tae Kwon Do School was founded by Grand Master Chong Tae Lee, in Queens, New York in 1971. He is the original teacher of Grand Master Jose Cocco. Our Kendall location was started with humble beginnings, in the backyard of Grand Master Cocco’s home with friends, family, and co-workers in January of 1986.

Grand Master Cocco wanted a school with a strong base, and to have people who respected the teachings and traditions of the art form. From the very beginning they had the support of their teacher Grand Master Chong Tae Lee - they have retained all of his original teachings.

In September 6, 2014 Grand Master Chong Tae Lee retired, and promoted Master Cocco to 9th Dan, and new Grand Master, and President of Zen Mu Kwan Tae Kwon Do Association. Lee’s Tae Kwon Do is a place to build integrity, respect, discipline, self control, and confidence while conditioning your body and mind.

Our curriculum includes meditation, self defense, forms, breaking, pre-arranged and free fighting techniques. We are a family run school, keeping with the traditions of the original art form.

Come join Lees Tae Kwon Do, and start your journey to becoming a part of our Zen Mu Kwan family.
